Merry Christmas to All!

Wednesday, December 23rd, 2009

christmas From everyone here at nineteen05 we want to wish you all a Merry Christmas, a safe holiday, and wonderfully rich time with your family and loved ones.

We here have been blessed beyond measure in this past year and are so grateful to have wonderful friends and clients like all of you.

And suddenly there appeared with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying,
“Glory to God in the highest,
And on earth peace among men with whom He is pleased.”

-Luke 2:13-14

Coming to a city near you?

Monday, June 29th, 2009

mplsIt has been a while since we have actively posted anything here at our insights for church blog. That is because we have been really cranking away at things to get ready for our official launch this summer.

While it is a bit unorthodox for a software development company to go public with their version at 1.5.something we realize that our goal has been to offer the best most robust integrated church solution available. So after 18+ months of software development we feel like we are finally there (even with years of development and upgrades already mapped out).

With that said, we will be touring around the Midwest this summer introducing the church world to us at two national conferences.

Ringin the Bell, Making made Bank So happy to be done!

We at nineteen05 just got back from ringing some bells for the Salvation Army in their annual red kettle drive. Got to wish a bunch of people a Merry Christmas and we were able to make quite a few hardy Minnesotans smile today despite the sub-zero wind chill (6 degrees and -2 with the wind chill). Now back to wrap up Friday and to let my toes thaw out.

Here’s a little shout out to my bell ringing bro’s over at Coed Monkey (blog) and Ministry Monkey. Warm up! And if you need tee-shirts for your church or ministry hit them up. Great guys over there.

It’s hard to believe that Christmas is upon us once again. There is snow on the ground here in Minneapolis and it will be a white Christmas this year. In case you have yet to set your tree up this year (there are only 13 days left till Christmas so get on it!!).

From us here at Nineteen05 we wish you the merriest of Christmas’ you’ve ever had, and the peace & joy of Christ in this holiday season.

Now on Twitter…. Nineteen05!

Wednesday, December 3rd, 2008

The micro-blogging site twitter could very well be the next generation of blogging (though there are serious limits to such tiny posts and it is a very different experience). We over at nineteen05 just set up our twitter account (@nineteen05).

Our main motivation for doing this is to quickly and breifly communicate product releases, customer service info, new features, user submissions of feature adds, and to keep in better more consistant communication with our customer base.

If you are using twitter, make sure to follow us and we’ll return the favor!
If you haven’t started, get your FREE account and let us be one of your first contacts!

Mixing it up, new focus to bring you more

Waterpoof Furnature isn\'t innovative, but you can be!Getting more Focus for Nineteen 05

As we’ve been looking at our product offering over at Nineteen 05 as we approach our first version release in the coming weeks its become apparent that we need to become more focused.

We’ve adjusted our company to focus more on tailoring our products to the church, para-church, and religious non-profit ministries for the time being. In the future we may release versions of our software for other non-profit sectors.

Mixing it up on the Blog

One of my long time passions has been marketing and design. With all this time spent discussing and pondering the new focus we’ve decided to update the blog’s purpose as well. The blog will continue to be a portal for insights on Management, but now also marketing!

With over a decade of web development experience (much of that time devoted to creating online communities before all this social networking) we’ll be bringing much needed insight in the form of practical ways you can market your organization better.

After all, it’s all about clarity helping you grow into the future.

Our First Post Ever!

Wednesday, June 25th, 2008

Welcome to the Management Insights blog. The whole purpose of this blog is to share some principles of management to help those in the non-profit sector (both religious and secular). We’ve realized that there is no lack of passion amongst those running and working in the non-profit industry. It is their heart and passion that causes them to live a life so altruistically.
